施佩耶尔大教堂别名“皇帝大教堂”，位于流入莱茵河的德国施佩耶尔市支流江口。教堂用红色砂岩建造，是施佩耶尔市的著名标志。它是欧洲最大的具有罗马式建筑风格的教堂，也是神圣罗马帝国时代的主要纪念碑之一。

The Speyer Cathedral, officially the lmperial Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption and St Stephen, in Speyer, Germany, is the seat of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Speyer and is within the Archdiocese of Bamberg. The cathedral, which is dedicated to St. Mary, patron saint of Speyer (”Patrona Spirensis”) and St. Stephen.
It is considered to be “a turning point in European architecture”, one of the most important architectural monuments of its time. and one of the finest Romanesque monuments.
In 1981, the cathedral was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List of culturally important sites as “a major monument of Romanesque art in the German Empire.
